Ryan’s year as “The Patriotic Voice of the Professional Bull Riders” has been a whirlwind, to say the least. While wearing a pair of cowboy boots he leather dyed red, white and blue at a PBR press conference at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX earlier this year, Justine Lord from Lane Boots asked him what he thought about having his own boot line.
“I’ve wanted to have my own cowboy boot line since I first started in country music, and this sparked a fire. After spending some time researching Lane Boots and meeting with their staff, I fell in love with the company. I wanted to get started right away.”
The boot design process is new to Ryan, but having an active role in his design with Lane was extremely important. From leather colors to the fit and feel of the boot, Ryan has enjoyed working with Lane to get exactly what he’s looking for while listening carefully to their expertise.
“They know boots, and the team I’ve worked with has been extremely supportive during the whole process. Most folks don’t realize just how much goes in to creating a unique, great fitting, high quality boot, and I have an immense amount of respect for what Lane Boots does for each design. I have loved their professionalism and enthusiasm, and their creativity is extraordinary.”
Ryan’s first designs, the Ryan Weaver by Lane Boots “Old Glory” will come in men’s and women’s styles in black and special ordered stone washed designs.  Along with Ryan’s “Old Glory” boot, Lane Boots has also created leather cuff designs and a leather clutch to accessorize.  They are scheduled for production in March, and Lane Boots is taking pre-orders for personal purchase, as well as vendor and in-store sales.
